Wake Me After the Apocalypse

I’m very excited to announce the launch of my 13th novel! Wake Me After the Apocalypse is a young adult science fiction adventure. Think Passengers meets Deep Impact with a little bit of The Martian thrown in. It’s a little different from my recent books. Looking forward to hearing what you think! Narrated by Ray Greenley, it’s a full-length prequel to Seabound that can be read before or after the trilogy (also available as Ray Greenley audiobooks). Ray Greenley … Continue reading The Burnt Sea audiobook is live!

Cover Redesign for Seabound

I recently decided to get new covers made for my post-apocalyptic adventure at sea, The Seabound Chronicles, a series which has been complete since December 2015. With the original covers, I was going for the Wool look: a large, dramatic title on a relatively simple background. The old covers fit in fairly well in the adult post-apocalyptic category on Amazon. However, they don’t include a wasted landscape (there’s no land in the book), and … Continue reading Cover Redesign for Seabound

I recently compiled the Seabound trilogy into a convenient box set for Kindle. It includes all of Esther’s adventures (Seabound, Seaswept, and Seafled) but not the prequel, Burnt Sea. It will be on sale for under $5 until Sunday. Tell your friends!   In other news, I’m gearing up to launch my brand new fantasy series. The cover reveal is on Facebook today! For adults who read YA fiction

A few weeks ago, I had a drink with a new acquaintance whose job involves organizing literary festivals. I wanted to impress her. I was participating in the upcoming festival to promote the book I wrote under another alias, but I was under no illusions about where I stood in the hierarchy of literary talents being featured. As we got to know each other, I told Lit Fest … Continue reading For adults who read YA fiction
