Night of Flame, the fifth and final book in my young adult fantasy series, launches this weekend. I’m excited to share the conclusion I’ve been thinking about since I first started working on Duel of Fire in 2015.
I had a general sense of how I wanted this story to end, but this book included some surprises for me. It was a challenge to bring together the various plot threads I’ve been developing over the course of the last four books–a challenge that proved both confounding and rewarding. I hope you’ll enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it!
The Steel & Fire series is now complete at 542,000 words. It’s swashbuckling fantasy adventure full of swordplay, magic, dragons, and romance.
I’m now working on the third draft of a standalone post-apocalyptic novel I’ve been writing on the side. When that’s finished, I’ll be diving right into a brand new fantasy series! I already have several thousand words of worldbuilding and character notes, and I’ll share more about it soon. Stay tuned!
