I chose Christmas Eve, December 24th, as the release day for Stone Charmer after reading about the Icelandic tradition of Jólabókaflóð, the Christmas Book Flood. You’ve probably seen the memes about the practice of giving books to loved ones on Christmas Eve and spending the whole night reading together. I think curling up in front of the fire with a new story is an excellent way to kick off the holiday.
