Hey everyone! It’s a Monday morning in Hong Kong, and I am currently sitting in a half-renovated flat waiting for the contractors to arrive. I can’t go to my usual Starbucks to write while they’re here, so I’m taking the opportunity to catch up on the things I’ve been putting off during the lengthy process of packing up and moving.
I thought I’d share some articles and interviews I’ve written recently. First up, I talk about the fantasy books that influenced my latest series, The Fire Queen’s Apprentice, on Camillea Reads. Check it out here:
Next, I have an interview about The Watermight Thief on ManyBooks. Learn about the inspiration behind Pendark, the hardest characters to write, and my secret skill here:
I recently approved the audiobook for The Thunderbird Queen (The Fire Queen’s Apprentice Book 2). Caitlin Kelly returns as narrator, and she does an excellent job as usual! You can find the audiobook of Book 1, The Watermight Thief, on Audible and Amazon.
In the meantime, if you’ve read The Thunderbird Queen, I’d really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads. Thank you!
Hopefully by the time you hear from me again, I will have running water in the kitchen and a freshly assembled and organized bookshelf to show you. Thank you for reading!
