Burnt Sea, the prequel to Seabound, launches in just over a week. The ink is dry and the book is up for pre-order, so I’ve been hard at work on the third draft of the final book in the Seabound Chronicles. This will be the culmination of three years of writing, and hopefully it will be an epic conclusion to Esther’s adventures on the post-apocalyptic sea.
No good adventure is complete without a villain, and Book 3’s villain will not disappoint. There’s only one problem: he needs a name! He goes by his title for most of the book, which is how I’ve managed to get through two and half drafts without picking a name for him. But now, I need your help.
Please go to my Facebook page and tell me your ideas. You can even suggest your own name if you want to be immortalized as a post-apocalyptic villain. I don’t want to give anything away by telling you too much about the character, but he’s in his 50s, he likes fishing, and he’ll have a Dr. in front of whatever name I choose from your suggestions. I’ll send a Seabound Chronicles paperback to whoever suggests the winning name (title of your choice).
