Hey, everyone! I’m very excited to reveal the cover for my first traditionally published novel, a YA post-apocalyptic romance called Brightfire! Kerri Resnick at Wednesday Books created this gorgeous image, which reminds me of some of my favorite YA dystopian novels, Delirium and Shatter Me. It’s a perfect fit for the romantic adventure inside!
If this is the first you’re hearing about Brightfire, the book is being published by Wednesday Books, an imprint of Macmillan, on July 27, 2027. It will be my official mainstream publishing debut, which means the paperback will appear in real live bookstores all over the US–and hopefully the world!
I had tons of fun writing this book and working with a new team, and I can’t wait to share it with you all next year. If you enjoyed my Bunker and Seabound books, as well as The Grace Year and The 100, you’ll definitely like this one!
