It’s hard to believe it has been two years since the launch of Duel of Fire, my fifth novel and the first instalment in the Steel and Fire series. It has been so fun to write fantasy, the genre I have loved reading ever since I was little. Thank you to everyone who has read the series over the past two years.
I decided to put the first two Steel and Fire books on sale to celebrate the two-year anniversary. If you haven’t read them yet, you can get Duel of Fire and King of Mist for $0.99 each until the end of the weekend.
I’m currently immersed in the revisions for the third Empire of Talents book, but I’m planning to write a Steel and Fire spin-off series this fall. I’m already excited about returning to Vertigon. The series, set five years after Night of Flame, will include Dara and Siv and their friends and feature new characters that I’m just starting to get to know.
If you’re interested in talking about the books with other readers, we’re doing a read-along of Duel of Fire in the YA Fantasy Addicts group on Facebook. Join us for the discussion on April 15th!
Thanks, as always, for reading!
So excited to hear about a spin off series from Steel & Fire! Hope it includes Selivia and Latch…after reading about their arranged engagement, I’ve been dying for them to get their own story!
Thanks, Hanna! I think you won’t be disappointed ;).
